Many things have been said about the iOS14 update and how it may affect your ad campaigns on Facebook.
Honestly, most videos and posts out there make this topic more complex than it has to be.
The video below will help you understand the changes and adapt to them without major headaches.

Well done William! I appreciate you keeping us up-to-date and please let us know when you come up with ways around all these restrictions when you come across them.
Itβs great being on your team and look forward to working with you for the long term

I am a newbie so I feel like this is more for advanced Facebook marketers, but I’m sure it will be very useful information as I start advertising on the platform.
@Kunti – This isn’t really advanced. I’m sure things will make more sense when you start running your ads. Also, you don’t have to learn everything about iOS14 at once. This lesson and PDF can be good references for when you face certain situations.
Yep, it’s been rumored that Apple might be rolling out its own ad platform. Not sure how true it is, but if they did, it would certainly explain the move they made with iOS 14. Thanks for explaining attribution window.’
I am a newbie but honestly this particular looks like william was speaking French. I don’t understand at all.
@David – If you have never used Facebook ads before, this can be not so clear at this point. However, as you start running campaigns it will make more sense. Also, I’ll be glad to assist you with your first campaigns and help you with the iOS14 restrictions that you eventually face.
I have just got my very first personal facebook account, I have never used facebook before because I had no interest to do so. I have read the PDF from William and he says you can run campaigns from a personal account, but the PDF said that you would need to have people contacting you firstly and ensure your personal account, looks like it has things happening on it. There will be nothing on my FB account other than the campaigns I just joined facebook to run campaigns, will this be a hindrance to me?
@Phil – It won’t be a problem if you put your real name on the account. They may contact you to verify your name and address and if the information there is real they’ll be able to do it successfully. If you have any other questions or need more specific assistance with this, just submit a support ticket and I’ll get back to you asap!
If I am reading everything correctly, you’ll still be able to target people based on interests, behaviors, and demographics right? And the change wouldn’t prevent reaching traffic on mobile or desktop, just extending out beyond facebook for behaviors correct?
@Paden – Yes, those things haven’t been affected.
Excellent tutorials. I have a facebook personal account with a business page. Problem is that the personal account uses a nick name that can not be verified by my ID. My business page is affected by my personal account as I have to verify my ID to run ads. Thanks to your advice, I have now opened a new business account with my real name so I can verify my ID to run ads on the business page. But now, I have two FB accounts, 1 personal account with my nick name and 1 business account with my real name. Could this be a problem? and do I need to close my personal facebook account with my nick name? Any advice? Appreciated.
@Chibuike – A business account will only work if you have a registered business. Otherwise, you need a personal account with your real name on it to be able to get verified.
Hi, I’m a newbie too and have never placed a FB ad in my life, nor any ad anywhere, nor have I ever earned a penny’s commission on any CPA site in my life. Now how newbie is that?!
I’m going to need special help going into this venture before I get banned by FB? I bought early into the PDF case study, VIP, the whole kit and kaboodle, I’m that hungry for this but time is the one commodity I have just too little of. Nevertheless I’m going to make it happen but I’m going to need your support dear staff?
2) Also, I”ve had a personal FB account for some 15+ years and I understand that a business account has it’s advantages. Should I get one? I’m a Canadian and I also have an American company on paper only, collecting dust, FYI. I hope that Williams staff can help me out and make this CPA passion of mine really work?!
Great! Fantastic explanation that clears it all up for me… thank you.
@John – No problem! The program has been designed to work for people with no prior experience. Regarding the Facebook account, you can start with a personal one and it won’t be a problem. You won’t have any issues with features not being available. In case you’d like to use a business account, if you have a registered and active business in the US, you should be able to register one for your business.
