Hi William,
I was just about to publish my first campaign on FB, when I realized that my full name shows on the preview of the ad. This of course is due to having entered it in the “Name” field when creating my business page (I didn’t realize then that this will show on the ad). I am going to try changing it in the page settings, but I wanted to ask before doing so, will this cause any issues with FB? What is your suggestion… should I leave it as is (which to be honest, doesn’t look or feel right to me), or do I change the name to a more suitable name (pertaining to the niche).

You can use any name for your page (nothing aggressive, ilegal, etc of course). You don’t need and actually shouldn’t use your personal name. The fanpage should have a name that’s related to your niche.
So, yes, go ahead and change it.
All ads are linked to fanpages, so the name of the fanpage will be visible.
