Gaming on Facebook – Campaign results & lessons learned July 23, 2020 14 WILLIAM SOUZA OTS Case Studies This video will show you the results of the campaign after the optimization as well as some important lessons learned during this OTS case study.
Loved the OTS training, would definitely have to watch a couple more times as I put my campaigns together.
Love the OTS training on setting up a campaign. Thanks! Question: Did you do anything specific to the FB ad to help get the CPC down to $0.31 from $0.48?
Oh and a couple more questions: Is it ever appropriate to start at FB campaign using CPM vs CPC? Also, if you start with CPC, when do you know itโs time to switch from CPC to CPM? Thank you.
@Kisha – When an ad has a good CTR and quality ranking, the CPC will get lower as you do more volume. The reason why that happens is because the data becomes more reliable for Facebook. For example, an ad with 20 impressions and 1 clicks has a 5% CTR. But is it likely to continue to have a 5% CTR after 2,000 impressions? Or after 100,000 impressions? Not really, because that’s not enough data and numbers may still change. However, if that ad keeps a 5% CTR after 2,000 impressions, it’s a lot more reliable. After 20,000, even more. And the more consistent the performance becomes, the lower the ad will cost. About CPC x CPM, if you run a cmapaign with the “traffic” objevtive, I suggest you to strat with CPC and probably stick with it. That’s what you’ll do most of the times, but, in some cases, you may want to test other goals such as “engagement” or “conversion”. In this case, you would use CPM.
Great and honest video. I like your Spirit.
I really appreciate the transparency. Very refreshing. Well done.
Very helpful to see the process, which provides an overall better understanding. Thanks for taking the time to provide this approach.
Thank you very much for this OTS series! Lots of useful information!
Love this OTS campaign.. really really useful. Thanks, William!
Great OTS ๐ Thank your
Love it
Enjoyed learning your process. I’m very big on process and the way you walked through it really provided a view into your thinking and the way you go through and trouble shoot your campaigns from start to finish. I look forward to seeing more OTS from you. Great content!
Why FB pixel is not used for the campaign? I believe that with FB pixel, a campaign can be scaled by setting up a lookalike audience campaign.
@Anisurrehman – Yes, we have lessons on that:
https://cpaevolution3.com/members-area/how-to-install-your-facebook-pixel/
https://cpaevolution3.com/members-area/how-to-create-cas-and-llas/
However, that’s more advanced and you don’t need to focus on that right out of the gate. Most important thing is that you learn how to make your campaigns profitable. After that, you can focus on strategies for scaling.
